Bio & CV

Born in Thousand Oaks, Ca. 1986

Lives & works in Phoenix, Az.

Jonni's work, at it's core, is an interdisciplinary experimentation with a combination of photography, drawing and painting. Jonni explores the intersection of color, composition, chance, digital imagery and the natural progression of an idea that differing realities can come together to make one piece. As a Los Angeles native, his work seeks to register the identity crisis and uniquely diverse qualities that you would encounter in an aggresive city environment and urban sprawls by jumping from medium to medium. Cheatwood is interested by the process having to do with how creativity cultivates hope, revival, and the restoration of what was nothing, constructed into something beautiful.
